Welcome from Principal Isom

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,

First off I just wanted to introduce myself as the new principal at Knappa High School. I couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity. As someone who was raised in this community I know how truly special this place is and look forward to this new challenge!

Student registration opens online on August 8th. If you want a paper registration packet, you can pick one up at the
KHS office or by calling the office and requesting a packet be mailed. Registration should be done
for ALL students to ensure we have the correct contact information. In order to help people with
any questions regarding registration, the High School office will be open to contact. Fees must be paid by cash or check at the KHS Office.

School will start 15 minutes earlier this year. Regular school days will start at 8:35 and end at 3:20.

I have added the district calendar and bell schedules, including half day and late start, to the last
pages of this letter for reference. Our late start schedule remains the same, every other Wednesday
with the first one occurring on September 13th. School on late start days begins at 10:35.

Some important dates to keep in mind:
★ August 8th - Online Registration Opens
★ August 9th - Sports Physical Clinic at KHS 1:00 - 4:00 pm
★ August 14th - First Day of Fall Sports Practices (must have a current physical on file to participate)
★ August 15th and 16th - Freshmen Boot Camp
★ August 28th - Mandatory Freshmen Orientation
★ August 29th - All students back
